Modern slavery and human trafficking policy Anti-slavery policy Solirius Consulting has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking and is committed to upholding and respecting human rights. We recognise that the practice of modern slavery takes varying forms including servitude, forced labour, child labour, human trafficking, and any and all forms of the deprivation of one’s liberty by another for personal or commercial gain. We pledge to act ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and supply chain relationships, and never to knowingly use products or services derived in any part from the practice of modern slavery in any of its forms. The following statement outlines the steps we have taken to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not operating directly within our businesses or indirectly within our global supply chain. Our supply chain Our supply chains consist of the sourcing of technology consultants, provision of IT products and office stationery. Risk assessment In our assessment, as Solirius Consulting operates primarily in the UK and is staffed by directly employed or regularly contracted staff of Solirius’ trusted network, the company is at a low risk of modern slavery issues. ​ Solirius Consulting undertakes full Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks through Verifi, on all permanent employees and contractors. These checks include flagging non-UK based references and Applicants, right to work in the UK, a three year employment or student reference verification and a basic Disclosure and Barring Service check. Policy statement Solirius Consulting acknowledge responsibility to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and we will ensure transparency within the organisation and with suppliers of services to the organisation. Solirius Consulting will not support or deal with any business knowingly involved in slavery or human trafficking. Endorsement The Solirius Consulting Senior Management Team will take responsibility for implementing this policy statement and its objectives and will provide adequate resources and investment to ensure that slavery and human trafficking does not take place within the organisation and within its supply chains. ​ A copy of this policy will be accessible to all employees and contractors via our cloud platform and we will ensure that the policy is understood and communicated to all levels of the company via local management and as part of the onboarding process for new joiners.
