Carbon Reduction Plan

Supplier Name: Solirius Reply Ltd

Publication Date: 25th September 2025

Commitment to achieving Net Zero

Solirius is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2030.

Baseline Emissions Footprint

Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.

Baseline Year: 2019

Additional Details relating to the Baseline Emissions calculations.

Scope 1 emissions are not applicable to Solirius Reply - as a technology services company we do not produce emissions directly through owned or controlled sources. In previous years we have calculated Scope 2 emissions which are related to the rented company office space, however our data for Scope 3 has been limited.

Scope 1 emissions are not applicable to Solirius Reply - as a technology services company we do not produce emissions directly through owned or controlled sources.

Scope 2 emissions are calculated as Solirius Reply’s portion of energy consumption at the Leadenhall office.

Scope 3 see above

Category 2 - these are the cradle to grave emissions from laptops purchased over the year using supplier published carbon emission reports

Category 4 - n/a as a technology service consultancy we do not purchase raw materials for use in delivery of our services

Category 5 - n/a we do not produce waste in our operations

Category 6 - covers business travel to client sites using the spend based method and hotel stays based on number of nights

Category 7 - employee commuting has been calculated using the average data method assuming most employees in London commute by train

Category 9 - n/a as a technology service consultancy we do not deliver tangible products to clients

Emissions reduction targets

In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets.

We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next six years to 0 tCO2e by 2030. This is a reduction of 100%.

Progress against these targets can be seen in the graph below:

Carbon Reduction Projects

Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives

The following environmental management measures and projects have been completed or implemented since the 2019 baseline. The carbon emission reduction achieved by these schemes equate to 0 tCO2e, a 0 percent reduction against the 2019 baseline and the measures will be in effect when performing the contract.

The carbon emission reductions have not yet been achieved due to increasing the size of our company fourteen-fold over the 5 years. The carbon emissions have been maintained proportionally to our company size.

The following environmental management measures and projects have been completed or implemented since the 2019 baseline.

  • Our remote working policy has significantly reduced the frequency of employee travel

  • A policy to limit the number of people working from our small headquarters office, has reduced the additional electricity consumed as we continue to grow

  • We have implemented a hybrid working policy where there is no minimum requirement for staff to work in the office. This has reduced our per head emissions from employee commuting.

  • Implemented standard operating procedures for reduction of energy consumption.

  • A policy for sustainable business travel has encouraged employees working on client sites to choose journeys with lower carbon footprints.

  • Awarded “committed” badge by EcoVardis demonstrating our commitment to sustainability.

However, carbon emission has increased against the 2019 baseline. There are several key reasons for the increase:

  • The company has grown significantly and workforce has increased by over 100%

  • Commuting has increased post-pandemic, with offices returning to normal working hours

  • Business travel has increased as our clients have returned to their offices.

Future carbon reduction initiatives

In the future we hope to implement further measures such as:

  • Closing our Leadenhall office will reduce our commercial office footprint.

  • Joining the Reply group will mean that we will adopt their sustainability initiatives and goals (including those defined by SBTi criteria)

  • Committing to working with and evaluating all of our subcontractors and suppliers to help reduce their carbon emissions.
