The role

We are looking to hire an experienced Microsoft Principal Consultant, this is an exciting opportunity to join our Technology Consulting Practice. We are looking for someone who is passionate about their work and can adapt to working within a versatile team. Experience of designing large scale solutions utilising components from the Microsoft Office 365, Azure and PowerApp ecosystems and operating within client architecture frameworks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand, prepare and present solutions to customers that address complex issues.

  • Develop business proposals, perform bid work, SOWs and other reports when required.

  • Negotiate project terms and conditions with clients as needed

  • Responsible for architecture, design and development of applications and services using Microsoft Office 365, azure and power app and Microsoft .NET technologies.

  • Schedule regular client meetings, process client invoices and review engagement letters.

  • Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed software development sprint plans and release schedules

  • Assign and track deliverables for the teams.

  • Ability to map user requirements to standard O365 features, identify customization areas, estimate the customization effort and translate the analysed requirements to design using Microsoft 365 / Online applications and components.

  • Necessary high level & low-level technical documents as required by the client governance processes

  • High level roadmap planning

  • Help with the creation of a prioritised backlog of Features, Epics and User Stories

  • Dependency & stakeholder mapping

  • Risks & Issues

  • Cost/Benefit analysis


Key Skills/Experience:

  • Ideally you will have consultancy experience delivering bespoke solutions to clients

  • Worked with large scale programmes within Azure, Office 365, Sharepoint and other Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, Dataverse, BI and Logic Apps

  • Expertise in MS Azure designing PAAS Architecture solutions

  • Experience designing and delivering Microsoft Azure and Office 365 solutions

  • Implementing Azure Platforms, key knowledge of best practices around Cloud Security

  • You will have a delivery focused approach and will understand both the technical and business barriers that can impact on successful Cloud Migration and implementation.

  • Any experience with scripting languages would be highly beneficial

  • Strong experience of API design, REST, Microservices architecture.

  • Experience in working in an architectural function with formal governance in a large Agile programme

  • Create HLD and SO's as and when required and drives architecture increments

  • Ensure architecture and design governance requirements are met.

  • Champion best practices and patterns on APIs, integration and micro services.

  • Should be able to review developers code and application configurations as part of Software Quality assurance process

  • An expert in scaling services Up/down on PAAS solutions in the Microsoft Azure platform with knowledge of serverless infrastructure.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Stakeholder Management experience
