A season of giving: Solirius staff spread holiday cheer across London

As we slide into the Christmas season, the team at Solirius Reply is channelling a bit of holiday spirit into things that really matter. Sure, we love the day job, but giving our people the chance to support the community around us is something we’re genuinely proud of. 


This year, our brilliant staff are getting stuck into a range of initiatives that bring a bit of warmth, safety and hope to people across London.


Sharing a bit of festive joy

We have taken part in Dunelm’s ‘Delivering Joy’ initiative, where our staff receive a tag with a personalised wish on it and buy a gift for someone in need. It’s a small act of kindness that can make the holidays feel a little more special, especially for those who might otherwise go without.

Supporting the homeless community

We laced up our shoes and lent our time to Hackney Night Shelter. Our team volunteered at their fundraising quiz event and raffle, helping to raise essential funds that allow the shelter to provide critical overnight accommodation and support services to those experiencing homelessness. We also had staff conducting bucket collections in Dalston on December 11th — every donation helped keep the shelter running.

Aiding women and children escaping domestic abuse

Solirius Reply has also opened an opportunity for our team to donate to Refuge, a charity providing life-saving safety, support, and hope to women and children escaping domestic abuse. This is an essential cause, and we are honoured to support their tireless work in providing secure futures.


Keeping the momentum going into the new year

And because the community doesn't pause between the holidays and the new year, we’re offering staff the chance to volunteer during this quieter period too. It’s a small way of making sure support keeps flowing when many other services take a breather.

All of this is driven by our people, their enthusiasm, their compassion, and their willingness to step up. It’s one of the many reasons Solirius is such a great place to work.
