It was a typical gloomy day in January when a group of our consultants visited Newham Collegiate Sixth Form Centre in East Ham. We ran a workshop for students eager to explore careers in tech.
We offered a genuine look at working in the sector by sharing advice on:
how to get into tech
the diverse roles available
how our work contributes to designing and developing digital products
The students showed an impressive level of awareness and knowledge of the sector. The detailed nature of their questions truly highlighted their curiosity and ambition.
Mentoring the next generation
But that is not all. Nineteen of our consultants have signed up to mentor the Year 12 students. We are excited to offer bespoke guidance as you navigate choosing your future path, such as:
upskilling for a degree
apprenticeships
internships
graduate roles in your chosen field
At Solirius, we are passionate about nurturing talent and look forward to mentoring the next generation of tech professionals.
A huge thank you to Anita Lomax and Newham Collegiate Sixth Form Centre for having us. We are excited about working with you in the future.
